Aspalathos Villa is situated in the area of Lygaria - Agia Pelagia, overlooking the coast and its protected from waves sandy beach, only 500m away. The former fishing village is developed around its shore, offering great fish and seafood taverns, bars tourist and souvenir shops. Don't miss to visit the traditional village of Fodele (west, 7km), the birthplace of the famous painter Dominikos Theotokopoulos (El Greco). Melidoni Cave (west, 20 km) is one of the most significant on the island. Knossos, the famous Minoan Palace is only 25 km away, definitely a stop not to miss in Crete. Heraklion City is within 14 km and the International Airport in 18km.
