Olga's Filoxenia villas comprises two traditional two-storey luxurious independent houses, superbly situated in the heart of the small preserved & tranquil village of Maheri, with a stunning view of the sea below, the peaks of the white mountains behind and the castles & solitary chapels around. They are fully furnished and exclusively built in stone & wood to match their surroundings.Each villa has its own peaceful setting, it is totally independent and have terraces with spectacular views. The private heated jacuzzi in villa 'Aladanos' offers you relaxation and a romantic and unforgettable holiday experience. Villa Erontas is a 2-storey house.The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a sitting room with hand-made table a 6 chairs, a spacious open plan living room with sofas, TV LCD, DVD Player, stereo and an internal courtyard. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, the one with 2 single beds and wardrobe and the other with a double bed, wardrobe and a big veranda with umbrella and deck chairs with a stunning view to the sea and the mountain.There is also a luxurious bathroom with bathtub. Chania is a wonderful port town that is a popular destination for shopping and sightseeing. It is only 30 minutes drive from our villas and has a beautiful Venetian harbor with an old town full of history. It is also an ideal starting point for hiking and for excursions and for acquaintance with the rich fauna and flora of island and the innumerable historical and prehistoric monuments. You can enjoy walking, trekking, bicycling, horse riding, go-carting and climbing. There are many walks along mountain paths and gorges including the world famous Samaria Gorge. Most water sports are also available in Kalyves and Almirida beaches, 5km away from Maheri, such as windsurfing, diving, snorkeling, sailing, jet skiing and fishing.

The villas is clean in a amazing village Very good location between Chania and Rethymno cities The stuff was very kind the place very quiet all the day and all the night Really a great villas for relaxing holidays!!!

The house is beautiful and very convenient, the village awesome and nicely located for trips to Chania, Rethimno and the northern and western part of the island. Nearest beaches are at 20 mns drive and Kalives is a nice small town for shopping too. Katerina and her family are great hosts and we thank them for such a nice and warmfull welcome. Think we will return. Warmly recommended.

The property is described as a Maisonette, however it is a very nice house in a small quiet village. The house is very comfortably furnished and there is everything you need in the kitchen. The hot tub on the patio is an absolute delight (Just relax on a warm summers evening with a class of something cold and the spa bubbles taking away any stress, what more could you want!) Katerina went out of her way to make us feel welcome and this included a selection of food items and drink to get you started, to checking we were settled in, and finally, a very nice little leaving gift on our last day. You do need a car if you stay here and the nearest decent supermarket is on the edge of Chania, however local traders pass through the village on certain days and sell things such as meat, fruit, veg and bread. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the main resorts you can’t go wrong with Olga’s Filoxenia
