Villa Rhea is built near the traditional village of Kokkino Chorio in Chania Prefecture, in the beautiful Cape Drapano, overlooking the magnificent Souda Bay. On the edge of the village there is a glass blowing factory worth to visit. Almyrida beach can be reached within 3.5 km and Kalyves beach within 7 km. The well-known 9km long beach of Giorgioupolis is also available within 10min drive. Don't miss Chania's gorgeous old town (25km), full of narrow streets with charming boutiques and numerous restaurants, bars, and cafés. Similar but smaller, the old town of Rethymno (25 km), with Ottoman and Venetian influences, is an integral part of Crete and its culture.
