- Ftelia beach is Mykonos' most bohemian beach. It is a sandy beach, much less crowded that Mykonos famous beaches, which makes it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the greek sea and sun. It is worth going up the steps to the bar for a view over the beach. Even though the beach is quite large, it remains surprisingly, and thankfully, undeveloped. You will always have plenty of space to spread your towel, and often no one around you in the crystal-clear sea.

- Super Paradise is one of the most famous beaches on the island, home to the also famous Super Paradise Beach Club. It is mostly crowded and full of life, but at the same time, the water and the views are just perfect. Although it is a party beach, the calm waters also attract families and couples on honeymoon.
- A relatively small beach, Paraga is one of the island’s most popular beaches. It is within walking distance from Paradise Beach and can be reached by bus. From here you can actually see the island of Delos in the distance. In Paraga Beach you can find many famous beach restaurants and bars.
- Known as a family-friendly beach, Ornos is also one of Mykonos' trendiest, most popular, and crowded beaches. It offers lots of restaurants and places to stay and is a frequent stop for many boats and yachts. It is located in the south of the island and is for those who prefer a more developed, resort atmosphere.
Things to do in Mykonos:
- Mykonos Windmills: The first sight that hoves into view before you pull into the harbour is this row of seven white windmills posted on a small cape. The mills have become a symbol for the whole of island and are a simple walk southwest of the Alefkandra quarter. There’s a small gift shop next to the road, and you can join the gaggle of photographers taking snaps of the white mills contrasted by the blues of the sky and sea.
- Armenistis Lighthouse: Six kilometres north of Mykonos town is a working lighthouse guiding traffic along the strait between Mykonos and neighbouring Tinos. Although you can’t go inside, the lighthouse is a trip worth making for the awesome scenery. This is best done just after sunset when you can see the lights of Agios Sostis and Laouti on the other side of the street.
- Mykonos Town (Chora): The Town of Mykonos, called Chora by the locals, is a beautiful typic Cycladic village. It is amphitheatrically with whitewashed cubic houses with wooden coloured doors, windows and balconies, narrow streets forming a labyrinth, beautiful churches, lovely chapels and purple bougainvilleas contrasting with the bright white of the buildings' walls.
