Guests can go there by boat from the Old Port or by sailing. Also, the Archaeological Museum of Mykonos exhibits valuable findings of Renia, the island next to Delos, as well as ancient Mykonos. You can also visit the small but beautiful Aegean Maritime Museum and the Mykonos Folklore Museum. For sightseeing and walking around, Panagia Paraportiani Church is one of the most famous architectural structures in Greece. Positioned near the main harbor entrance, this church is the central feature of the castle area, the oldest section of town. The Windmills, from as early as the 16th century, are one of the most recognized landmarks of Mykonos. Armenistis Lighthouse, which was built in 1891, is situated on the north-western tip of Mykonos, overlooking the strait that separates the island of Tinos from Mykonos. Due to its high elevation, you can enjoy from here the most amazing sunsets of Mykonos. A walk in Mykonos Town, with the beautiful maze-like streets and the lovely Alefkandra of Mykonos also known as Little Venice, the Mykonos Town neighborhood that is home to many artists and one of the most photographed places in Europe, shouldn’t be missed. In Ano Mera, the Monastery of Panagia Tourlianis and the Castle and in Platis Gialos, the Well of Giannaros and the three Hellenistic Towers, are worth a visit.
