Once in a while we all deserve to be pampered with bespoke services and a little luxury living, to be lulled by the light breeze of the Aegean Sea and soothed under a Mediterranean sun. Alta Mare by Andronis, with its discreet luxury, traditional architecture and breathtaking views of the crescent island of Santorini, offers its guests the perfect haven to relax in, to find time to read, daydream and spend time with those they love. Due to the particular construction of the hotel on the cliff and the absence of children facilities, our property does not accept children. This open-plan, 60m2 cave suite offers guests the ultimate retreat, beautifully and simply furnished. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom, walk-in closet and sitting area come with all the modern amenities. The large private patio with hot tub has unrivalled views of the dramatic volcanic cliffside making it the ideal romantic hideaway. In addition Alta Mare by Andronis provides communal pool, snack bar & pool bar. *The Retreat Suite sleeps up to three people with additional charge.

We stayed here for 6 nights and had an amazing stay! The service here was very impressive. They saw to your every need. Andreas the manager was very attentive and checked in frequently. We also enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine and plate of fruit when we first checked in (given to everyone, not just honeymooners). The staff of the hotel seemed to be happy to be working there and with each other which was a nice vibe you don't often get. Everything you need is taken care of by the hotel (dinner reservations - catamaran cruises, wine tours, etc.). They picked the vendors for us for the cruise and the wine tour - I do wish I had researched a little more before accepting their recommendation for the wine tour because it just wasn't really what I was looking for but still a great tour. We booked our airport transport with them (which was wicked expensive at 140 euro round trip but so convenient because they escort you to and from the cars). The room view (room "Elen") was stunning and our room was really quite big for Greece. The common pool was a beautiful infinity style pool overlooking the ocean. It is small, but it gets the job done! And for Oia where everything is built on a cliff, it's a reasonable size! The breakfast is probably the very best part!! It was sooo damn good and they bring it to your room based on your order which you turn in the night before. The outdoor jacuzzi was really nice once we got the temperature where we wanted it to be but we had to call in a hotel staff member to do that for us. The buttons controlling the jets were not in a convenient location and they only made them run about 3 minutes so you had to keep pressing it every 180 seconds. Two of the jets were broken as well but not a big enough bummer to dock them a star. Overall we were in heaven during our stay here. Would definitely recommend!!

Perfect - like honeymoon Breakfast extraordinary! Perfect place to be in Oia. We had the retreat suite for three (couple with 17 year old daughter) Nice private pool on the terrace with wunderful view. Really worth the money!
