Aspronisi Luxury Villa welcomes you to the unique island of Santorini! This modern residence is newly-built based on the traditional Cycladic architectural style and overlooks the amazing caldera and the beautiful island of Aspronisi, from which the Villa gets its name; the island covers a small piece of land which was once part of Santorini, before the volcanic eruption in 1660 BC. Aspronisi Luxury Villa features an elegant, light and at the same time modern decor. It is sunny, fully equipped and has its own private entrance. Its facilities give visitors a unique opportunity to get a taste of Greek hospitality and experience the everyday life of the locals.Aspronisi Luxury Villa is 80 square metres in size and is located in Santorini's village of Megalochori, only 50 metres away from the caldera. It consists of three beautiful rooms. A living room with a TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heater and two built-in couches, as well as a dining table for six to eight persons and a fully equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms with a double bed, cupboard, en-suite bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heater and bathroom. The one bedroom faces west and has a view of the Akrotiri caldera, Aspronisi and the sunset. The other bedroom faces east and enjoys a view of Profitis Ilias Mountain and the sunrise. The Villa's spacious balcony includes an outdoor hot tub, where guests can relax and admire the spectacular view of the Akrotiri caldera, Aspronisi and the sunset. The Villa also offers another semi-outdoor area, which can be accessed from the entrance and is furnished with sun loungers and umbrellas. It is the ideal spot for sun tanning, while enjoying the amazing view of the Akrotiri caldera. Next to the villa stands a private church belonging to the family of Mr Gavalas, the owner of the house. Guests are free to visit the church and use its outdoor area as a parking space. The Villa is eco-friendly, having been built with ecological construction materials and being equipped with class A eco-friendly appliances, a solar water heater and a boiler for hot water. The Villa can accommodate 4 to 6 people and is ideal for couples, groups of friends and families. Aspronisi Luxury Villa is open all year round.

Megalochori lies in the south-western part of the island. The centre of the village is picturesque with its blue-domed churches and narrow streets winding through neighbourhoods with traditional Cycladic houses, local shops and a beautiful square with colourful flowers surrounded by amazing restaurants. It is also known for its vineyards and is world famous for its magnificent wine. In fact, the owner’s brother has the oldest winery in the village, ‘Gavalas Winery’, which is in the centre of the village next to the square. It is open every day and offers tours in the winery and wine tasting. In late August, the guests of Aspronisi Luxury Villa have the opportunity to participate in the wine-making and traditional grape stomping process. At a short distance from Aspronisi Luxury Villa, guests can visit the beach of ‘Christ of Athermi’, which up until 1963 was home to functioning hot springs. A small beach at the caldera that can only be accessed on foot.

Amazing view, good location and very friendly staff Maria from the reception was very helpful and the guy that helped us with our luggage was very kind. I would definitely recommend in case you want to visit the south side of the island! Good value for money!

Very spacious and very private villa! The staff was truly amazing and helpful. Τhey let us use the parking lot at Artemis suites where the reception is located (1 minute walking from the villa). The view of the balcony was amazing and offed us peace. The perfect spot, since you are 15 minutes drive away from the best beaches of Santorini.

The Jacuzzi and view was amazing, waking up to the views of the Caldera and then taking some time in the Jacuzzi which was warm even in the cold winds. Additionally, the villa offers a lot of privacy unlike many other places that are so close by. the villa has a private greek orthodox church next to it with a blue dome that can be seen from the balcony. The villa is also 2 mins walk away from the cave shaped like the heart of Santorini that's can be googled on Google. I Met the owner who seemed very nice however the arrivals and check in and all help is managed by Sofia who was wonderful! She helped me with everything from booking a cab to and from the airport at no additional cost, she was there when i arrived and showed me how everything worked, she helped me pick places to visit, she asked me what I wanted to do on the trip or what ideas i had and helped me find the right tours for my time there (with absolutely no pressure to do a specific tour) but she helped me find the right fit. She suggested places nearby that I could visit (eg. the Heart of Santorini which I heard about but didn't know was so close by). She was lovely to chat with one of the evenings and made me completely feel at home. She's also an amazing chef an dropped by with a very tasty cream cheese pie. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there -- both the tours I did picked me and dropped me from the villa so if you don't have a car don't worry. Both tours Sofia helped me book and they were very economical and showed sights from Sunsets in Oia, imerovigli to black and red beach. Also, there's a family bakery and mini market nearby. Even in winter when half the town is shut there's still some shops open that have items that you can stock up on and Sofia even offered to help me get groceries in case the weather was bad. Megalachori is a traditional Greek village and the town is a beautiful sight to walk through too. Overall, I'd recommend this property to all.
