Lilas' Guesthouse is located in Ermoupolis the capital of Syros island, at a very short distance to the the port and the centre of the city. It is a stone mansion built in the 19th century, which used to house once the French Consulate. It was completely renovated in 2003 with great care and taste, in order to keep all its original characteristics. Comfortable 35sqm studios for 1 to 4 persons offer a pretty bedroom with a double bed, writing desk, sofa, a kitchenette with sink, cupboards, small fridge, coffee machine, kettle, plates, pots, cutlery, and two single beds or a double on a mezzanine level. Complimentary bottled water, coffee and tea is provided. It is ideal for individuals, or small families. One extra bed or baby cot can be arranged upon request. Room Size: 35sqm

Lila Guesthouse is situated a few blocks away from the seafront, in a quiet part of Ermoupolis, the capital of Syros. The impressive main square of the town is at easy walking distance. Vaporia, the town’s ‘Little Venice’, is just 5 minutes walk and it’s a beautiful place for swimming. To go to the beaches outside Ermoupolis, you need some sort of transport. Public transport is good: busses that leave every half hour and the bus stop is only five minutes on foot. Taking Lila Guesthouse as a starting point, you can get to know Syros Island very well and easy. Visit the wonderful town of Ermoupolis with its unique neoclassical buildings, just a few steps away. See the traditional villages and have a swim at one of the wonderful beaches around.

Perfect location in Ermoupoli! Lila Guesthouse was such an amazing place to stay in Ermoupoli. Perfect location - easy walking distance to everything. Loved the character of this guesthouse which is in the old French Consulate building. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view from the balcony was superb. Lila collected us and dropped us back to the port for our ferries and she was very friendly and made our stay pleasant.

This is a beautifully converted building. We had a fantastic room with a wonderful view down to the port. We had breakfast each morning overlooking the town.It really was a room with a view. Our hosts were really helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to other travellers.

We are delighted! Lila's guest house - exactly the best place in the city! great location, very kind and hospitable Lila, rooms such that I want to stay here to live permanently. if you decide to stay in Hermoupolis, this is the best place.
