On the island of Zakynthos that is also known as the floating paradise on earth, Villa Shangri-La Zakynthos is a brand new luxury villa that started welcoming guests in July of 2020. Villa Shangri-La Zakynthos is grandiose with lavish interiors and opulent exteriors. A luxury vacation rental that can most certainly satisfy the needs even of the most discerning traveller. In terms of accommodation, sleeping and living arrangements, Villa Shangri-La comprises of two buildings. The main house and the stone-built bungalow. In the interiors, the main house offers extra spacious living and dining areas, a modern fully equipped kitchen, a study area, four bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a WC. The bungalow, on the other hand, has its own open plan kitchen, living area, bedroom and bathroom. The bedrooms at the main house are spread on two floors. On the ground level, there is the master bedroom suite with its own ensuite bathroom and two more bedrooms sharing one bathroom. On the upper level where the study area is also set, there is the fourth bedroom with another bathroom. The outdoors of Villa Shangri-La are just a splendour for all guests. The specially shaped swimming pool dominates the scene and is surrounded by perfectly manicured gardens. Why not go straight for a dip in the tropical pool upon arrival no matter what time of day or night that may be. Or you can simply lay in the sunken sofa for a drink in front of the fire pit. The chilling out and outdoor living areas at Villa Shangri-La Zakynthos are ample. Dining al fresco awaits. You are in Greece after all. And if you happen to enjoy outdoor cooking, here you can indulge in barbecues under the glass vaulted ceiling and dine on the dining table for a real Mediterranean feel. If you love exercising, you can surely enjoy one or many games of tennis or badminton, volleyball or basketball. If you prefer to take it at a slower pace a spa and mini gym area are there and available.

One of the most interesting sights of the island is “The Shipwreck” (Navagio), a magnificent real, shipwreck on the secluded coast of St. George, which is now known by the same name. You can also visit the Keri Caves and Marathonisi, located at the bay of Lachana, by boat. In addition to the beautiful, turquoise waters where a swim is required, children will be especially pleased, since they’ll have the opportunity to meet the famous Caretta-Caretta turtle that swims in its natural environment. The famous Blue Caves, which you can again, visit by boat or take a private boat tour, form one of the island’s most fascinating, natural attractions. One of the most famous coasts of the island is the sandy beach of Kalamaki. With its golden sand and shallow waters, it is an ideal choice for children. Keri Lighthouse is the best place to visit during your stay on the island, in order to watch the sunset as it disappears into the sea and the incredible shades of color it creates in the sky. In general, the experiences in the beautiful Zante are unique.

My family & a second family (4 adults & 5 children) have just returned from staying at villa Shanghai-La. wow, wow wow !! This villa is absolutely gorgeous. The villa host Roussa could not do enough for us i.e full meal on arrival for everyone due to our late arrival, local foods & cooked pancakes delivered to the kitchen on different days. I have never had an owner take so much of her time in accommodating her guests. The villa itself is straight out of show home, no expense spared on fitting, fixtures & furniture. Roussa also arranged our 9 seater van hire at a very reasonable rate & arranged a personal chauffeur again for a very reasonable rate to drop / pick us up when all adults wanted a drink. If you are looking at staying in Zante & want to stay in a high end villa - Shanghai-La is the place for you. Also a full COVID-19 clean of the villa (inside & our) every 3 days. We will definitely return!!!

What a fantastic rental! It is a brand new house with all the amenities and luxury you can imagine! It is beautifully decorated, the kitchen is a dream and the outdoor space is phenomenal. Outside spa, gorgeous pool and furniture! It’s a paradise and we are glad we found this gem of a place! Hosts are incredible and so helpful with suggestions of what to do on the island! Highly recommend. It was perfect!
